Here is my first update on my airbnb tiny house expenses and income. I met a lovely couple at their house as a mobile notary and our relationship has turned into a mentorship. I used every penny I made from being a notary signing agent and making money from home to invest in a tiny house business, tiny home business. I will be renting my tiny home on airbnb as an airbnb investment and airbnb host. I will eventually do a break down of the full cost of getting this land ready for a tiny house community. I want to take you along on this journey making money with short term rentals on airbnb as a glamping airbnb business. i first started with the idea of renting RV'S, but the idea grew to something much more passionate with tiny homes. This video was very hard and very raw for me to film and upload. It is often emotional and scary starting a new business and your emotions and fears will be on a rollercoaster. I invested all my money into this, so I will get scared on this journey, but I don't want to give up. This is a side hustle that pays a lot of money without a college degree. You can make $100,000 being a signing agent, making money everyday without a degree which has helped me create a business for rv living and tiny house alternatives. A huge part of building wealth is diversifying your income because you can't budget your way out of low wages. Designing and building three tiny cabins on a farm by the beach requires a deep understanding of the Australian landscape and an appreciation for the union between architecture, interior design and the environment. Located in Phillip Island, Five Acres is a farm by the beach, surrounded by rolling hills and a rugged natural landscape. The boutique accommodation pays homage to the traditional beach shacks throughout the interior design, with each structure envisioned as a tiny house. As a modern Australian-inspired design, Five Acres is imbued with neutral, warm textiles and finishes. Husband and wife duo, Rom and Katie Lamaro, leapt at the chance of designing and building three tiny cabins in the Australian landscape. Each tiny cabin interior is composed of different colours to evoke relaxation and calm, curated by Belle Bright Project. Designing and building three tiny cabins on a farm by the beach meant bringing the outdoors inside. The earthy colour palettes are highlighted by contemporary accents, speaking to a more modern Australian-inspired design. Each boutique accommodation has a slightly different experience. Belle Bright Project applied a modern interpretation of Laminex and their AbsoluteMatte products, which are designed and made in Australia. The modern, versatile fingerprint-resistant finish provides the perfect additional feature to each tiny house. When designing and building three tiny cabins on a farm by the beach, Rom and Katie had to cleverly repurpose materials. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the Laminex product complements the architecture of each dream cabin. When designing and building three tiny cabins, Rom and Katie took inspiration from the landscape, while the interiors by Belle Bright Project are also infused with an environmental palette. The tiny cabin Barley is inspired by soft muted tones of the earth, bringing warm browns and terracotta into the interior. Clover is a darker, moodier interior, with highlights of black and green – the Laminex black softens when paired with the internal concrete finishes and oak timbers within the dream home. The Tiny House dubbed Rye boasts a green palette with softer tones, instilling a sense of calm throughout and reacting to its location as a farm by the beach. The spaces within each cabin are inviting, luxurious and warm. Building a cabin with the specific intention of relaxation, Rom and Katie have ensured Five Acres is imbued with a contemporary serenity, cementing the Phillip Island getaway as a dream home. When the housing market hit an all time high we bought vacant land instead and were building our Airbnb business from the ground up one tiny home at a time. We sold it all to build our tiny Airbnb dreams, leaving Florida forever and headed to the smokey mountains to set up camp. We have our first investment property under our belt and made the development of our tiny home rental community our full time jobs. We have tons of renovating experience flipping mobile & manufactured homes in Florida but nothing that involved building homes from the ground up. We are new to the mountain elevation, slopes and layout of the land but we are pushing forward and building our Airbnb dreams with what knowledge we do have & the help of Youtube university. With a mini excavator and Kubota on site we are cleaning, clearing and grading this beautiful mountain view property with a creek and drive way bridge & turning it into an income producing property that will support our minimalist lifestyle. Our plans are to build a school bus conversion, tiny house and a geodesic dome to top it off the mountain view and natural sounds of the creek, we're turning 1 property 2 acres into 3 income producing pads on airbnb for the up coming 2023 vacation year, we invite you along for this journey of a lifetime. This move for us has always been more about the journey than the business for us so we make family and fun our top priority. We're young parents that felt over worked and under paid we realized time was our most valuable asset so we fought to gain that time back for ourselves.
